So last week was the Missoni madness. Missoni for Target inspired madness at Target branches around the country and the website crashed multiple times as many a savvy, over-exuberant shopper tried to get their mitts on some Missoni.
I'm not necessarily easily swayed by the designer collaborations and to be honest, I don't think I own any of the high-low collabos. BUT. I love Missoni. In a big way. I love me a great little skirt but at $350+? Hmm. I love me a great cardi but at $800+ Mmmm-hmmm. I love me a snug knitted dress but at pushing $1000?!!.
If you don't like Missoni with their spacedying and zigzagging, the madness was totally lost on you. I'm not a morning person so I was never going to get up and drive to a Target when I could just sit in bed on my ipad and click, click. I realised what initially looked like a site crash was just a queueing system. You logged on and had to wait for the page to keep refreshing until it was your turn to go in and once you were in, well, there was still quite a lot to choose from at 10am. West Coast time. Patience grasshoppers.
