Ladies, if you're reading this from a part of the world that is experiencing an extended sub-zero temperature, snow filled winter, this post is for you.
I mean really, its still snowing??? Enough already! It was fun through Xmas....now we're in February...not so much.
One of my favourite secret weapons any woman needs to survive braving the outdoors in winter.
CASHMERE.
I've learnt the long way, don't be fooled by cashmere blends. They look nice, come in at a lower price point but don't offer the level of warmth your body craves. If you want premium warmth, baby bum's softness and long lasting durability. You need to hold out for the 100% stuff. Pricey yes, but there's a way round everything.
www.ASOS.com has a great selection of 100% cashmere on sale.
And I just stumbled upon this site www.mypashmina.co.uk which has the most astounding selection of 100% cashmere pashminas made in Nepal in an amazing array of 48 colours.
I would recommend going for the larger sizes (90x200cm) as you can use them in a wider range of purposes...as a scarf, as a shawl, as a wrap. And no matter who says what about pashminas being cool or not, I love them!!!! They don't call me and my friends Pashmina Mafia for nothing.
P.S. They also have great service and while its tricky to gauge quality online, I have two and they gorgeous and are definitely 100% premium cashmere.
