There's nothing like being on a mission to inspire a new blog post.
This time? Earrings.
Not just any old earrings. The perfect party earrings. I've noticed that I'm naturally drawn to much more spendy items these days but I'm a pro at getting pricey things for a fantastic price. Its the art of the hunt.
First up on my radar were these fabulous earrings by Amrita Singh ($92 Pink Mascara). A perfect party piece of Bollywood to add a little exoticism to your look. I tend to gravitate quite strongly to turquoise earrings as its a colour that looks fab against dark hair, but to be honest, it looks fantastic on everyone.
Next on my radar, these Turquoise Cabochon earrings popped up, from Banana Republic ($39). A little bit old school a little bit Bollywood. Banana Republic is not a shop that ever interests me but I have to say their summer jewellery collection is banging.
We all love a good pair of hoops and these artsy ones by Wendy Mink (Max & Chloe $90) really caught my eye. the mix of gemstones (Green Onyx...who knew?) and the delicate gold hoop make these a winner in my books. They also come in ruby, champagne, black onyx and turquoise so there's a colour choice for everyone.
I've been having a long term love affair with Kenneth Jay Lane. Ever since he popped up on my radar with those quirky cool fruity pieces a few years ago. And these earrings look like something straight out of Frida Kahlo's era in Mexico which makes me love them even more ($120 Vivre). They're definitely statement earrings!

Then I found these little pieces of fabulosity by the very talented Californian designer Little Hunter. For a fantastically priced $30! (available from Ateliette)
And for a more pared down look, I found these honeycomb inspired earrings by Gorjana ($75 Shopbop.com). Fabulous.
I am LOVING these. A little bit gothic inspired, a little bit rockstar with a fantastically girly touch of pink. From the Earring Boutique at The House Of Fraser on sale from £54 to £27.
These circular rainbows are soooo pretty and the neutral sparkly colours would work with everything. £49 from the Earring Boutique.
Last but not least, these gorgeous leafy earrings by Emilie Hagen (mywardrobe £65)
